About Lindsey Maloney, DNP

Dr. Lindsey Maloney DNP, is a Litchfield county native and began her healthcare journey as a CNA in the nursing home setting. She practiced as a Registered Nurse in the home care and hospital setting for 6 years before becoming a Nurse Practitioner. Her career as a Nurse Practitioner has been spent in a community health center providing acute and chronic care to high-risk patients with multiple, poorly managed health conditions facing multiple socioeconomic barriers.

 

She received structured infectious disease training, expanding her primary care services to include HIV, tuberculosis, STIs, and hepatitis. She also has a special interest in the LGBTQ+ community and is known for her sexually competent care, including hormone replacement. Outside of work, she is a board member of the Queer Equality & Empowerment Strategic Task Force and Healing Hearts with Open Hands local organizations. 

She enjoys traveling, reading crime documentaries, kickboxing, and spending time with her dog, Cloud. She is bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish.​
